All the ones on the internet are fake.
The only way you can have your IQ tested properly, is by asking for one at a university.
Find the nearest college to where you live and call the main office. You do not have to be a student to have them run an IQ test on you.
You will be given a date and time when and where to arrive.
A true IQ test takes several days.
You are not asked , in an IQ test, just a bunch of questions. You will be given tricky questions and hands on puzzles. You will be timed by people, holding a stop watch, to see how quickly you can put the puzzles together.
You will be tested on how quickly you can answer abstract questions.
This CANNOT be done on a computer. There is no one there to time your RESPONSE time.
Don't fall for those bogus IQ test schemes on the web. They aren't even equiped with the tools they need , to TEST your IQ.
I know. I've taken the IQ test......I'm proud to say it was a LOT higher, than I could have imagined.
For a college graduate, it is around 120. That's standard.
That does not mean, that, the more schooling you have, the higher your natural, born given, IQ will be.
They have found, that the more education you have, the higher your score will be but not by much.
The average IQ of most people, ranges from 90-110.
If you hit 149, like I did, you will be hounded to death by Mensa, asking you to join. From time to time.
Believe me. There is nothing more boring, than sitting in a room full of people, that have equivelant IQs but you have absolutely NOTHING in common, other than high IQs. It is not a WHOPPING big deal.
Go ahead, take the test. The VERY fact that you want it tested, shows signs, that you already know, you have a high IQ.
Most people would be afraid to take it, out of fear of bad news.
It is a lot of fun and I did not find it stressful, AT ALL.
Maybe, that's just me. I had FUN!
I really don't feel comfortable about answering this question by the way.
For good reason.
A LOT of people on Yahoo answers, think TOO many people log on here and CLAIM, they're a member of MENSA.
I'm sure, MOST of them are lying and most of the populous, on here, have said....They are sick and tired of people claiming that they are a member of MENSA.
I can almost guaratee it, that 90% of the people reading this, will think I'm lying about the fact that my IQ is 149. I'll get over it. Believe me.
What is the big deal?
I know, I sure don't feel special or smarter than anyone else. It means NOTHING to me.
Have FUN! Go ahead and take the test. You'll love it.
Personally, I can't tell the difference between a person that has an IQ, (of let's say), 97 to 506!
We all have different personalities. You just can't look at someone and tell what their IQ might be,by their choice of dress accents, financial status, living habits or behavior.
Really, all I think about an IQ score, is it soothes your mind, to know what yours is, out of simple curiosity.
Other than that...It really doesn't help you much as to whether or not you'll be succesful in life. (sic),...(or not).
Our personalities dictate that.
GOOD LUCK!...Just don't fall for those rediculous ADs for IQ tests on your computer. For an accurate score, you would need to be timed with a stop watch.
They give EVERYBODY a high score, that logs on.
