Kobe hands down, he had to take almost every single one of his teams shots to get to 81 points tht game. it was the worst case of ball hogging in recent memory. thy won't evn show tht game on espn classic cuz it wuz so bad. and ricky davis may b selfish f gettin tht triple double by missin a shot at the other teams basket and spreewell may b selfish 4 wantin more money evn tho his skills r on the decline, but if u look up selfish in a dictionary u'd c Kobe's picture.

Are you limiting this to just players?

I would like to put Larry Brown out there. He sabotaged the Knicks. He was making trade offers to other teams without Isiah's permission/approval. He was constantly overstepping his bounds so he could get fired and still take 5 years worth of $$$. He's trying to get $50 million for one lousy season. He only won 23 games. That's over $2 million per win.

Say what you want about Kobe, but he was honestly trying to get his teammates involved in that playoff series against the Suns. It almost worked too. They almost knocked out the Suns.

I've never seen anything like Larry Brown last year.

A tie between Zach Randolph and Darius Miles. Portland is in dead last because those two want to act a fool and think just about themselves. Heck Darius even changed into street clothes in the middle of a game. Dump the chumps and lets bring Rip City back to Portland (not Detroit)

Ricky Davis, for many reasons. The most glaring example of his selfishness was when he missed a basket on purpose on the OTHER team's rim to try to get a triple double with his tenth rebound. What a joke.

Shaq is becausw he even say it. I remember watching a game and him telling a person that it was important to win another ring because he wants to be up there with the greats. Then he say that he was selfish and he wants another ring. Well, for him saying this made him like even more stupid when he say that he wants to win the champsion for Pat Riley and for his team. When only really wants to win the ring for himself. What a hyporicte.

kobe is not selfish in any way he is a good player and he can shoot the ball well, u cant blame him for being the best player in nba, he can score wen u need him to score, there is no "most selfish player"

I'd say Kobe O'Brien. He had the best center in the league on his team, but he refused to use him and play with him. LA should have had a number of consecutive titles, however Kobe wanted to be a hotshot more than a team player.

Ben Wallace

He's bolting from a town that loves (make that loved) him - for no other reason than money. The Pistons offered him more money than they've ever paid a player, but it wasn't as much as the Bulls.

Stephon Marbury, he's one of the reasons the knicks are trash. If your PG (the leader of the team and ditributor of the rock) only knows how to play rucker style ball, how far do you expect to get?
