You might try going to the Microsoft website and try searching for an updated USB driver for Win98. There is a good chance you might not find too much because MS is no longer actively supporting Win98 anymore. You should really look in to updating your PC operating system simply because Win98 had reached it's technological limitations 5 years ago. The other thing might be that your L7 might not be backwards compatible. When Win98 was released USB 1.1 was prevalent, USB 2.0 is the standard now.
