Yes, another Superman movie is in the making. It is a yet untitled sequel to Superman Returns and will be released in 2009. Sure. He's a got a son already in 'Superman Returns'. So there must be some sequels.

Well Spiderman is on his third movie, as is X-men. So yeah as long as it makes a bit of money they'll make sequels because Hollywood doesn't use many original stories anymore.

I pray that if they do, there isnt a superboy that would be terrible, like in the batman films Joel Schumachar made. He kept adding sidekicks and friends, it just got worse.

this movie actually did not do well. the numbers for opening weekend were way below expected... and people who did see it did not like it in general... so they will tell their friends to not see it. if the sequal is really based on the outcome of this film... i doubt it. unless they sent it straight to DVD.

I doubt they would have spent over $200,000,000 if they didn't think they could milk the Man of Steel's franchise for years to come.
