There is without question a double standard -- 2 actually. The press gives MUCH more attention to women teachers who have sex with students, but the courts are more lenient, while the press often spends much less attention on male teachers, who generally get the book thrown at them.

.Who cares? Unless she raped him or forced him, She is just giving him bragging rights and demeaning herself. The law is clear, any adult who rapes a child , pays the price. There will always be the liberal idiot judge who can be conned into lowering the standards. There are more middle aged men in mid life crisis in robes that there are women, so a hot young female teacher will have an easier time with the conning and that is why there has to be a strong legislature that will stand up against the judicial and enforce manditory sentencing...

no actually i think in most cases it's the other way around. Even with the puritan attitude in this country, I think most schools have a teacher-student scandal that is ignored or swept under the rug unless the parents find out and raise h---! I know there was at least one a year at my high school

Come on, women are manipulating the law and the men around them to get preferential treatment. Do you seriously think that thay only wanted equal rights when they initiated the Woman's Charter? The problem is that we as guys want to protect our own women and so we let they control us on our fears.
Relevant to your question, even when a female student is found to have wrongly accused a male teacher for any sexual offence, she gets away scott free.

Yes, most aren't going to jail!

A few years ago they used to cover these up and allow the teacher to resign with nothing on his/her record!

I had a teacher once that married one of the kids I pulled from their parents. He was 15!

She was fired as a teacher and then began working as a social worker!!

Of course they are.

If those women had been men, they would still be in prison.

Feminists dominate most legislatures and the feminist creed is men are always guilty, women are always innocent.
