There is a real recent one, I can't remember what it was called. It was kind of controversial though, because some said the girl was not abused, but rather possessed. The exorcism of Emily Rose...I believe it was based on the true story of Annaleise Michel.
Dave Matthew's series "A Child Called It" now has movies based on the books.

Losing Isaiah
Hard to find, but very good movie. I think Halle Berry is in it, at the start of her career.
If you have a Hastings entertainment store, you can probably find it there.
It's not about an abused child, but it's about her abandoning her child because of a drug problem, then when she cleaned up her act she tried to get her son back.
I'm not sure if it was based on a true story or not.

there are lots of movies based on women and child abuse, but may i suggest a book series instead?? the book is A Child CAlled It by Dave Matthews and it lists the other books in the series which is based on a true story. you really should read it.
