seriously... all rap today is about drugs, sex, whores, gats, how im a thug, rape, and all that bullshit. and not to mention how they steal riffs and beats from classic rock artist and other talented musicians. I listend to a rap station with one of my friends and some rap dude took OZZYS riff to Crazy Train and used it over and over to his gay song. then i forgot who it was, but they took The Doors, Riders of the storm song, lyrics and everything, and added like.. nothing to it.. whats your opinion on this?

I personally like listening to rap. Some rap artists have really good songs which have messages. Then there are some that just have songs about all this junk. I think that most rap artists are just plain out of ideas, and then start writing songs about things they think will attract teens and young adults. Or maybe the rap artists actually care about these things and think they're something important. But I admit, some rap songs are just stupid, make no sense, and have no point.

Today??? Rap has Sucked since Day 1!!!

I honestly can't believe it's still around!...Thought it was just another Passing Fad...like Disco!

And You're completely Right!...With the proliferation of these same-beat, same-trash talk rhyming losers...Some are resorting to stealing music tracks from established artists in other genres!...Just to stand out from the hundreds of "Me-Too" Shmucks...who make up hateful little rhymes...add a simple little beat...and think they're Cutting-Edge Musicians!

Message to sweetblackman:

Hey, Sweetblackman
Why are You attackin'
Sounds like...You're...Cryin'
Cause Your S h i t aint Flyin'.

Maybe You should just sit back
Smoke a little more Crack
Have another Brain Attack.....
You can Kiss My A S S, Jack!!!!!

( Hey...Maybe I should start my own Rap Group! )

Amen brotha (white or not doesnt matter)

Im almost thirty and I remember watching Yo MTV raps in the BB(Before Biggie)/BT(Before 2pac era). There were so many flavors to choose from.

There is creative, inspirational, clever, deep rap out there...its just not on MTV or the radio. The new rap is on TV because people buy it. But hey, check out the roots and or mos def. Choice.

I like when they combine the sounds of old songs to new rap songs. I just wish that the songs lyrics would say more than just stupidities. Even Kanye has lost his damn mind!!!!!!!!

Why do they use the terms "rap" and "music"n the same sentence? Rap isn't music, it's rhythmic noise. Music has a recognizable melody, rap is just what it rhymes with, CR*P !!!

unfortunately, the world is and always will be full of drug addicts and whores who like hearing about themselves on the radio and seeing themselves in music videos, and thus the crap is perpetuated.
