They only way to find out is to try it, but clothes, suck up a lot of water, so that will get complicated. It also depends on the direction of the wind, and the rain direction, but if you don't want to get wet one trick I do know, is that if it's raining DON'T run you'll only get wetter, this is aproven method, i guess the rain, hits you from all around, if you walk the only thing sure to get wet is probably your hair, i did this when i used to go fishing, when it was a surprise shower, i'll just stand still, and sure enough, my hair was soaked, but my clothes...s-p-i-c and span.. ( had to space out s-p-i-c, because they think it's profane (yahoo)

I think any time there is an obstruction in the direction the rain is falling from you would get less rain on you, thus getting less wet (per unit of time).
However, clothes have a maximum absorbency. After some time, if it is raining heavily, your clothes will absorb all they can absorb. You will reach around the same point of moisture in your clothes if you are in a crowd and you give it more time to build up.

depends on the angle from which the rain is falling... and if the crown has decreased the surface area of your body exposed to the sky. Of course, if you're in the rain for 10 hours, you're going to get soaked either way because it's running down your body.
