I recently read an article on the net about how dead foetuses can be grilled or barbecued and be eaten in America. The article went on further to say that they cost as much as $90 to $180. This has got to be one of the most horrifying, devilish and inhumane acts I've ever had the displeasure of knowing!

Is that a cultural thing or its just nothing but barbarism?

Maybe 'cici' - the self-proclaimd unatractive 'Japanese' girl who is also a 100% bible basher and seems very American in her attitudes - would become very happy if she lookd at some of my othre qustions.

Im sure shed feel right at home with some of them.

If she ever make up her mind who she raelly is, maybe she will see that she is sometimes rude to.

Before I choose best anser, I want to apolagize to any American I offended. This was not disigned to be insult to anyone, it was designed to put Yahoo to the test.
This question was originaly asked about another country, and the accusation was also FALSE, but fortunately the person that ask it accepted the denial from the many who KNOW and he was calm and happy to know it is not truth.
But many people were very happy to believe that foreign country people do this evil thing! Even many of the answers here are trying to move blame to other countrie!
Do these people not wonder that maybe NO people, anywhere in world, do this thing?

I hope they dont, but if there are any country that do that, it must be uncivilase country, far from human kindness. But just because YOU do not know a country, it does not mean they are incivilase! Please learn to accept the truth from people who know! People who live in the country! It is very wrong to say 'i know better than the people who live there!'

What? Are you smoking crack? Why are you asking questions like that? That's absolutely sick and nothing like that would be legally or socially acceptable. Gah, that's so wrong.
Speaking of which there was an article in Snopes about an internet myth involving the same thing you mentioned but only it supposedly occured in an Asian country. The pictures were of course from an art exhibition, and not a real fetus.
Is that were you got that? Busted.

And no, it is not commonly accepted anywhere in the world. Especially among white Christians who view cannibalism as a sin. But I'm sure other religions see it that way too.
Cannibalism is almost universally taboo among humans, with only a few tribes praticing in the world and they're either in South America or somewhere in the Pacific Islands. And they only do it as a part of funeral rites. They consider it a sign of respect. It's not like they roast the flesh either. The few tribes who practice it will sometimes cremate the body and use it in a soup.
So no, you heard they ate fetuses in the far east, you don't know that, because it's wrong. I think it's even rare among the tribes that still do it. So generally speaking it is considered abnormal and morally repugnant. So stop with the xenophobia already, okay people?

I was looking through all the questions you asked and they all dealt America and our supposed barbarity. We are just as civilized as any other nation. More civilized than some. Don't believe all of what you read on the Internet especially considering all the anti-American sentiment floating around

I don't know if they can be bought but there are some instances of pickled fetuses. If there are people in the world sick enough to buy fetuses, obviously on the black market, they need to visit the nice doctors in the white suits. It's not cultural unless it's that culture, hello! We don't eat babies in America, in fact cannibalism is illegal!

l live in America and I've never heard of such a thing. So whereever you read that, it's wrong.

There is, however, studys going on with stem cells, which are cells found in the umbilical cord.

But we don't eat them.

Oh my friend how wrong you are. The fetuses are imported from Ireland. We stole the idea from Swift. Yeah if you're going to rip him off could you go a little deeper with it.

It is absolutely not true. That would be illegal in every single state. Don't believe everything you read on the net.
