If he sleeps on his back, he will snore. Some people snore on their sides, too.
Quick fix... Pinch his nose shut. It'll wake him when he has to open his mouth to breathe, and there's no danger to him.

Take him to the doctor and ask that he go thru a sleep study..... he may have a condtion called sleep apnea.... they can help that. Or try breath right nasal strips, I hear tehy really help too.
