What's the situation with that?

It seems like he's a favorite to go to the Brooklyn Nets. He won't admit it but...

Will he sign one of those one-year deals and leave...don't really understand that situation...

The Cavs will do whatever they can to retain him. They have reportedly offered him a five-year maximum contract extension worth about $80 million, a deal that could keep him in Cleveland through the 2012-13 season. And for months, James has said he has no plans to leave.

The Cavs will not trade Lebron. He is under contract for one more year, if he doesn't sign the extension he becomes an restricted free agent and the cavs can match any offer sheet he signs.

If for some reason he leaves Cleveland the franchise should go as well the town will never forgive the team.

Lebron is under contract for another year with Cleveland. If he doesn't sign this extension then he's letting Cleveland know he wants to test the free agent market next year. It won't be because of money because Cleveland can match any offer out there. I would advise The Cavaliers if Lebron doesn't sign not to just let the best player in the league just walk away with nothing they have to trade and get something.

he's attempting to attain some leverage on the Cavaliers the front workplace to get them to make some strikes like they did by having Antwan Jamison he's playing the field earlier committing and seeing the Cavaliers the front workplace will placed the attempt in to make strikes to be an NBA Championship crew. so a options the Cavs have made the strides to attempt this by including Shaq contained in the preseason and including Antwan Jamison on the commerce cut-off date. Lebron stated he's chuffed playing in his homeland and is amazingly extremely joyful with the way Cavs administration has made strikes to strengthen the crew and shown their dedication to prevailing. The Knicks are dreadful at 19-35. The Cavaliers have the desirable record contained in the NBA. The Knicks have a ton of complications to fix this offseason and the desirable gamers left on the roster are Danilo Gallinari and Wilson Chandler who are not precisely superstars you die to play with. If Lebron needs to win he will stay in Cleveland. the in straight forward words different determination to win will be Miami yet they have complications having to renounce Dwyane Wade and in straight forward words have Michael Beasley,Mario Chalmers, and somebody else overlook who because the last gamers on their roster. Cavaliers are an NBA call contender already and it could be dumb for Lebron to leave. If Lebron is going to ny i am going to lose a ton of recognize for him purely to leave for money and promotion i'd lose recognize for the NBA besides, because it could be about money and promotion and not in any respect extremely about competition
