It is possible to get pregnant while on your period...all it takes is one renegade egg to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Up to 40% of women have the potential to ovulate more than once in a cycle. You could be one of them. Don't risk it. (The ovulation cycle isn't always as tied to the menstruation cycle as much as once believed.)

If you really want to avoid pregnancy, ask your doctor to give you continuous birth control (not the ones where you get sugar pills or go without a patch every fourth week).

True or false:

You cannot get pregnant on your period.

Answer: FALSE.

The TRUTH is, Even if you are NOT ovulating during your period, Sperm can live inside the semen, which is incubated in your warm belly for a week (In ideal conditions in a healthy woman). This means the little swimmers could wait until after your period when you begin to ovulate, and fertilize the egg then.

ALWAYS, *ALWAYS* *****ALWAYS***** use protection. No matter what! NEVER take that risk unless you're ready to.

She's totally not right. You CAN get pregnant if you have sex without birth control while you're on your period. How do I know? Because that's when I got pregnant with my first child.

It is low, but why risk it? You can still ovulate while on your period. My advice, use birth control continuously if you do not want to become pregnant!

wrong. Those sperms are real tough swimmers and can hang around inside you-days- long enough to get you pregnant. Always use protection.

Don't mess with things you don't understand, If you don't know the facts of life then you shouldn't be playing the game of life. Educate yourself before it's too late. :) H
