And why will I most likely get emotional responses and sentimental testimony that fail to answer the question? Why is God a bad writer? Why is the Bible written so poorly? If God is the supreme being of the Universe, shouldn't he have taken a writing class. Shouldn't he better than Shakespeare? Or Nancy Drew even?

Becasue deists are weak minded, gullible, brainwashed and cannot face up to their own mortality and eventual non existence.

Poor writer, did you know that the bible is the best book ever written? And God didn't wrote those prose. He is not inconsistent, jealous and even used terrible prose. Dear I think what you know is not true and maybe somebody didn't explain it correctly to you. Why don't you ask them again. According to the experts, the bible is the most concise and consistent book ever made. Eventhough the years of gap (generation) and different writers still it is one of a kind. I think your source is the POOR thing. It is all wrong, non of what you said is correct. I'm really sorry for you.

The experiences in this earth have been called forth unconsciously by us human beings. What we believe is what we will eventually see. So if you see God as being vengeful, thats the experience you will generate for yourself. Instead, if you make an affirmation about God being loving, kind, generous, poetic, you will eventually experience that as you move through life.People who understand this supreme truth are ever in communion with God.

Make every choice of your life consciously. Monitor your thoughts about each life situation carefully and if you find negative thoughts entering, consciously change it. This will eventually lead to a different experience and you will fall in love with God.

he is vengeful in the first testament and the second portrays him more forgiving and kind. That just goes to show one of two things, or both, he is more human-like than we think, constructing his personality as he goes, or that his image flucuated along with the poeple who wrote about him. Because thats what happened, God did not write the Bible, human beings did. I dont use him as a scapegoat for all the bad things that happen, but it does confirm his non-existence. The bad things happen because of a faulty race called human.

People worship “God” or whatever their faith theirs may be because it helps them to accept their daily life, give them strength and accept their fate. Unfortunately it also gives them an excuse to create war, to punish and to commit acts of unspeakable violence. Prose is just a way of saying things. Condemning someone for writing or speaking in prose is like getting mad at someone for speaking English or Latin. It is just a style of getting things across. Everyone does what they need to get through the day I guess. Some worship, some self sacrifice and some people murder or hurt others. I like to take a moment to stop and smell the flowers, accept life and appreciate life for what it is. Mine to live how I choose. I wish everyone could do the same.

because it's been imprinted in their brain since birth that this god is real. it's like brainwashing basically.

and there are many ways to guilt doubters. they tell them that those who doubt god will go to hell, or are lost and need to be guided back because it's all about "faith".

religion used to be a way to explain the inexplainable, now it's just a political device, a tradition, and something that people who don't believe in themselves use to "find strength". people like how they can do horrible things, and then instead of claiming responsibility for it, they ask god for forgiveness and then feel all holy and pure.

The same way you love and adore your parents, even after hey punish you, yell at you or whatever. you know deep in your heart their doing it all because they want you to be a better person, GOD is our mother and Father, and he or She is doing all this because he wants us to become a better being, a better person. and you might not relize it now but in the end, after it all said and done you'll relize it was for the better. Just like after you grown up and making 6 figure checks, then ou tink back how your mom wupt you so you'll stay out the street.

God is just and merciful and loves us all. I love the Lord God Almighty with all of my body, soul and spirit. If one follows the laws of God and asks for forgiveness for ones sins, repents and turns from sin they are forgiven and will have eternal life in heaven with God. God gives us the choice to follow Him or not. You choose the path in life you will take, heaven or hell it's your choice.

God takes the blame for everything by default.
People need scapegoats to direct responsibility elsewhere.
