It'll all be over soon. 7 books. One dead spoiled rich orphan kid. Did he ever tell Harmione that he liked her? Did Ron ever get over that bedwetting thing? How many kids got lice from them all wearing that same hat? Will Hogwarts be torn down to make room for a new mall? What will happen?
Perhaps in time, you'll forget all about poor Harry. You will have moved on to some other character. Or will you just read the last chapter of the last book, put it away, go to sleep and never wake, having nothing to live for anymore?

Literature and good writing (as opposed to the very popular vomit on paper, like Harry Potter and anything by Dan Brown). Don't get me wrong, Harry Potter is interesting, but Rowling is an awful writer. Try great works such as SLAUTERHOUSE FIVE. Or, if you still like fantasy and magic Garth Nix's SABRIEL and Philip Pullman's THE GOLDEN COMPASS. They are very good. Then you might see what a joke JK Rowling's writing really is (though her imaginative world of Harry Potter is pretty cool.)

These people obviously dont care for Harry. I personally love Harry Potter and I will be sad when the books are over. I wished that he could go on but everything has to end. I suppose that I will find another book and another set of characters to love, but I dont think that they can replace Harry and the gang.

I'll feel the same way I feel every time I finish one of those books and wait for the next to come out - sad and empty. Only this time there will be no light at the end of the tunnel, no book to wait for and I'm sure that ***** really will kill Harry Potter.

Harry Potter and Friends are not the only 'people' in the real magical kingdoms of the ficticious writers mind. Try another author. There's loads out there. Have fun.

Umm. First of all, there is Harry Potter fanfiction. The fics on many sites are awesomely written. Sites like these work well: fanfiction.net, fictionalley.org, schnoogle.com, harrypotterfanfiction.com, adultfanfiction.net, sugarquill.org, and there are a lot more that I can't think of right now.

Yes, it will be over soon, another figure will come along and we will find Harry Potter alive and well, collecting his retirement pension living on Micheal Jackson's estate.

get a grip dude, i mean i like harry potter and everything, sure i'll be sad if ever he dies in the book. but one thing you should put in your mind is that harry potter is just a story, it's just a product of a very imaginative writer.

I can't wait until it's all over. I'm tired of looking at nerds standing in line dressed like dungeons and dragons rejects, waiting thirty hours for the newest installment of literary garbage. They ought to try to get lives or something. Look at me, I'm a nerdy little wizard boy who flies around on his broomstick. Get real.
