What is the purpose of those animals called humans?

the REASON that we should survive is completely dependent on the PURPOSE of our existence. unfortunately, there is no right or wrong answer for you because no two people have the EXACT same purpose in their life. although many may be comforted by their freedom in defining their own purpose, others will not feel right knowing that there may NOT be a predetermined, universal goal that we all should be pursuing. if there was concrete evidence that there is an afterlife, then a lot of our questions about existence would be cleared up. there is, however, no TANGIBLE evidence of this, so looking outwards for an answer may only cause more confusion. if the spirit is a construct of our consciousness then, in my opinion, our purpose is no greater or lesser than that of a blade of grass, a galaxy, a moon in orbit, or a speck of dust.

I used to ask myself that exact same question, and then it occurred to me...
Why do we have to have a purpose?
Are we really so filled with ego that we must assume that there is a true purpose to our existence?
Does a cow wonder if it has a higher purpose, or a dog, a cat, a goldfish?
While it is possible that the answer is yes, it is very unlikely that any of these creatures think of anything other than what is currently going on and how to fulfill their baser needs as they require throughout any given day.
And although we are unique in that we are the only creature known to have full sentience, and we are (some of us) self aware, that doesn't necessarily indicate that we must have a purpose.
It's a cruel joke that was played on us that we have full blown self awareness and also the knowledge of our impending deaths. We get all of the goodness (I tell you my friends, ignorance is truly bliss) of knowledge but the downsides as well.
Just my thoughts.

The purpose of our existance is to live life, leave an impact on this earth; even if only on people co-habitating this Earth with us, and if possible make a few friends to make the journey smoother along the way. We cannot change the animalistic nature of some humans, simply acknowledge it does exist and remain cautious.

why should survive because our Lord wants this. when our Lord create this universe, the same time He told us what is purpose of our existence in this universe. The very first purpose is to obey His orders and then serve the humanity, love the humanity and try to make this universe peace place instead of hate and war place.

God created humans so that WE will serve and WORSHIP him.
That is our purpose.
Even if that is our purpose in life, He is good, for He gave us choices: to follow or not.. to believe in Him or not.
He loves us so much He even gave Jesus to mankind, so that all of us can be saved.
So it is up to you if you want to follow your purpose.

humans were created a little lower than the angels. We were created by God and FOR God. We are to worship and follow Him. The Bible says if we do not worship Him the rocks and stones will!
