Ok I know I give out a lot of advice on honesty and truthfulness, but I broke up my sister and her boyfriend by saying some nasty stuff, she doesn’t know it was me but I had to. He was sending me text messages saying how he wanted to hook up with me but I wasn’t single at the time. Do I tell her the truth or not? I feel bad but not that bad because it was for the best, but I feel so guilty please help and fast

you should have been honest and told her from moment one. But it's not too late. Tell her what he did. Remember BLOOD is thicker than WATER.

Cut it out. You did a sneaky and nasty thing and her boyfriend is a player and so are you. You should have shown her the text messages and let her decide for herself. Are you that jealous of your sister that you'd have to say bad things about her? What total lack of loyalty and you know it, that's why you're feeling guilty. 'Fess up to her and promise never, ever do such a stupid thing again. Jeez, the stupid things family do to one another.

It is not your right to say stuff that is not true or to decide whether she stays or leaves a relationship. Respect her feelings, her ability to make her own decisions, tell her the truth and in the future be honest about his clandestine messages.
