I couldn't think why do the Philippines still an underdevelop country nowadays while its neighboring countries are prosperous. what's really the problem. what should the proplr do. help.

honestly, i think that the government is extremely corrupt and unstable. that's one of the main sources of their problems. i told my mom that i think the philippines needs a governmental revolution. i've spoken with some college students and adults who live in the philippines, and also with my family (the filipino half of it) and they agree that the government is corrupt. people aren't getting paid sometimes and some kids aren't going to school. when i went there last summer, i saw a kid that looked like he was 4-years-old wandering the streets by himself and three older kids around 10 years old were standing outside a church begging for money; and i was there when the school year had already started. the government... it's the government.
