It id probably a psychic ability, called retro cognition. You have the ability to see events that happened in the past. It is probably the psychic energy from the battle that happened there going to you. I usually have a vision of the future when i sleep about every other week, to every other month. They are no big deal. Especially yours, yours is in the past. Maybe it was a family member that was their and they are trying to show you something. If you wake up during the dream, don't let yourself the next time . Because that is how you get them to go away, you have to dream the full dream in order to know what the meaning of it is. That is what I use to do, and I haven't got another dream from the past again. I Hope this Helps!

Let me analyze this dream

a house being bombed = place abolished.

I don't know how many years you lived in that house. That probably means that you have some feeling with the house and environment you lived which means you missed it so much.

Other than that, I don't think that dream signify anything because there is not information you give about why battle ship (unless you saw movie recently, heard bomb lately, watch the news... and so on can also contribute why those things happened in your dream...)

Did you have a bad experience when you were living by the lake? I tend to dream about freakish things when I am stress over some specific stuff. It tend to link up with something that would horrify me or make me tire. You could be very relaxed person, but the lake may have been getting on your nerves.

it could mean that there was a war going on way back when ever. or it could just of been a dream that freaked u out so much the first time and u started having it over and over again because u just couldnt forget it and it's just a cowinsidensethat it stopped when you moved. or it could be because you fear floods and wars and all that kind of stuff. Well at least you don't have it anymore. =]

This dreams brings forth alot of questions, especially, what was going on in your life during the time you were living there.

The interp of this dream is very interesting it deals disorder and chaos in your personal affairs, internal conflict and emotional struggles, the need to be more assertive. Feelings of aggression
Emotional turmoil, your repressed emotions were becoming overwhelming, the warning of those repressed emotions exploding if not dealt with - and the overall suggestion that something drastic needs to be done to fix it all, and immediately.

recurring dreams usually means that you are missing the message in the dream. they stopped when you moved, so clearly the issues you were having were solved by the move.

if you need a more in dept interp, feel free to email me.

I always have a recurring dream. For most of my life I return to a great valley glen that is free of industrialized entrapments. Its a nice place to dream of. Hope thats where I go when I die.

About your dream. Maybe your concerned about world conflict and its coming out in your dreams and not connected to the town or lake in question.

I had reoccering dreams once, really weird, but I found out it only happend when I faced a certian direction while sleeping in a certain room.

But I never did find out the TRUE meaning to it (this was YEARS ago) but I did make up a few theories over time, lots and lots of time, just wait and you'll see

Your old... You watched too many war movies... Read too many war stories... played too much battleship... or.. you think the world is in chaos.. it's out of your control.. the world's misery overfloods itself into your world.. and there is nothing you can really do about it.. because the worlds forces are too powerful.. but does this mean that you have to let other's intrude into your world? Sure, you're a nice person.. who lets others walk all over you... because you don't want to be mean or rude.. but remember.. if everyone gave up everything for their neighbor.. no one.. would have anything... think about yourself for a change..

It seems like everytime I'm having any type of dream I have to go do something and I can't find my shoes. So instead of doing anything cool I pretty much go around looking for and asking people if they've seen my shoes. Like I get bit by a snake and I can't find my shoes, or Robots are invading and I can't find my shoes.

The battle respresents some internal conflict that you're experiencing. Probably, it represents ideas that you feel are being forced on you -- more than likely by your family.

Those ideas of conflict were just finding a way to express themselves.
