Because thats what goth or punk ppl wear. Even though some of us know that its not right to label ppl, we all do it. It comes naturally.

Look at what the Goth's are wearing, they are heavily into black and it seems like most punks have a lot of piercings.
It's a stereotype. If you bleach your hair blond then people will think your IQ is 10-20 points lower.

it's called stereotyping. Everyone does it. I love tattoos, but that doesn't mean I'm goth/punk. Goth is more of a personality than a fasion statement. But yeah, it's a stereotype and it always will be. You just have to learn to deal with it.

Well, it's true that goth people wear a lot of black, right. Most people that have a lot of piercings around their body, belly, ears, lip, eyes, mouth, etc, are usually punks or just plain weird, but if that's who they are then that's who they are. Am I right?

You are considered so because of our ridiculous fixation on 'labeling' everything. I may be 41 but I have the benefit of being raised in a more open-minded household. I would judge you as more of being an individual engaging in self-expression - just as much as the same as the Izod shirt-wearing individuals at the golf course.
Be yourself and no one else.

Because you ARE wearing black and have multiple piercings.
LMAO.
Seriously though.
It is becuse we all visually and audibly classify people as soon as we see/hear them. Through in the surrounding/circumstances and not to mention THEIR previous experiences/attitudes and there you have it.
It's not right.
