Both BET and MTV has gone down hill. MTV Hip Hop and R&B channels are better than regular MTV and BET. BET is good but they do their shows by region so the East Coast sees different stuff than the West Coast plus after AJ and Free they lost a lot of appeal. So I guess neither are any good anymore

If I have to watch either of them I would have to say that I prefer BET over MTV because it has more music and often has really good movies on where as MTV has alot of B.S. on it now

MTV. Even though they don't show a lot of music that I like, BET should be called Black Exploitation Television! It really promotes some of the worse images of African Americans.

Bet is better for more urban people also that's a station where they play movies shows and many other things but if you want to look at more reality shows and things mtv is better.

MTV has definitely gotten sucked in to the reality TV craze. I think these shows like Next, date my mom, room raiders, and made, ALL SUCK AZZ!!! At least BET actually shows music videos. I'm a hip-hop fan anyways, so I'm gonna have to definitely say BET.

neither...MTV nor BET hasn't had good quality since the 80s..i find myself watching the classic channels like VH1 Classic...i love the 80s stuff!!! Music is so bad these days, I am rediscovering bands from the 80s and having a good time doing so.

Neither, there both so bloated with there own self satisfaction(smugness) that neither is enjoyable to watch but i will give bet credit for serving to a core demographic while MTV doesn't know what to do or show audiences aka doesn't know to show music

MTV doesn't really have as good as music as BET. If you like rap i really suggest BET cause they have some good rap songs.

MTV plays music...since when..BET well they play music..so ill go with BET..and there awards is better to.
