I heard every team(countries) have jersey of two different desings. One the main jersey which they normaly wear(ex:italy-blue, portugal- brown,england-white). My question is if the two teams who gonaa play have jerseys of somewhat simillar color(ex: Ukraine and Brasil ,both are yellow). who will be given the option to wear thier normal jersey ? is it selected through FIFA ranking system ? or is it selected through a lot ?. or any otherway ???

6. Colours
6.6. Each team shall wear its official colours as declared on the official entry form during a preliminary round competition match (see Annex B). If, in the opinion of the referee or match commissioner, the two teams’ colours might cause confusion or prove unsuitable for television broadcast, the host team will wear its official kit while the visiting team will wear either its reserve kit or a combination of both.
This is basically saying that every team has an official Country Shirt that they will wear but for some reason the colours cause a conflict then the reserved equipment kit will used.
Like in GER v. ARG -
GER - White
ARG - White & Light Blue stripes
The conflicts occured and ARG had to use the COMPLETE Blue Reserve kit
Since GER was the Home team for that game.

every match has 1 home team and 1 away team..
so the team which is home has the liberty of choosing their jersey color and the away team has to concede and wear a jersey which is opposite to the color so that there is no confusions while passing..

They pick a team to be the "home team" (even if they aren't really at "home") and I think that process is by coin or something.

It's a randomized selection, unless one teams concedes.

not totally sure. but when i played the home team had to change colors.
