our government insists on helping other countries and their problems while ignoring the real problems with the people who live in the U.S.,,can someone explain this to me?

That's what they call shadow under lamp post. US Government feels that by bossing around in the world they are building a great nation however they forgets that unless our own home is not strong we are not strong. Why do not our Government learn from USSR example. It used to look so strong from outside - they used to support so many communist countries ignoring their people and then when bubble busted everything was gone and we are seeing where ex USSR countries public stand.

May God bestows wisdom to our Government to looks in our own house before spending worldwide.

Unfortunately your govt is not your govt, in fact it is a pseudo structure of power and the real power lies elsewhere. The hint is " whose interests it places first"? as compared to the interests of it's people. It is the Jews and Israel for whom America exists.
