we live in amarillo, tx. and i don't want to spend hours driving to get there. and i want a hot tub and something interesting do when i get there.

take one of the best types out there dont start the vacation at the hotel start it at the end of your driveway. drive somewhere and figure out what you are going to do as you go. dont bother trying to regulate your vacation just let it happen.

San Antonio is absolutely fantastic. I'm from New York and I've been there a few times for conferences. There is NOTHING you could want, aside from world-class art museums, that you couldn't find there.
