How do I let him know that he can ask me to marry him?

Ask him (conversationally) what he thinks the two of you will be doing in five years. It'll get him thinking about the future, kids may be mentioned... etc.

OH....ask about how many kids you two should have....make a point of going to a high class department store and start looking at china patterns, go to the mall and make an issue of looking at wedding rings, right in the middle of his orgasim tell him you want him for the rest of your life, tell him if he's not ready to get married you are thinking of becoming a nun, tell him if he won't marry you you intend to become the first Catholic Priestess, tell him your clock is ticking and if he's having problem to committ you have a problem staying.....

Don't look at engagement rings. Don't tell him to marry you. Don't tell someone else to tell him to marry you... no man enjoys a shotgun wedding. If you want him to marry you, you WILL have to wait. All you have to do is do what makes him smile, even if it makes him frown first. You must work together, and you must make it apparant that he is all you need to survive (even if you are helplessly addicted to chocolate). All women want independence, but making a man feel like he's needed is what he needs to feel loved to the point of marriage.

Just kinda talk about the future and how you think weddings are when two people want to commit and spend the rest of their lives together. And let him know you love him that much and intend to spend the rest of your lives together, but say these at different times so it doesn’t look suspicious...

huh?????? IF he wants to marry you , he will ask on his own... IF he doesn't ask you nothing you say can make him ask.... and why would you want to marry someone that you have to let him know he can ask you to marry him??

next time you go shopping you look at the rings and say oh i like that ring i wish i had it or something then he will buy it and ask to marry you

You might start talking about the future together and what it will bring. Hint about the ring. Tell him directly.
If all else fails, propose to him.

Let him do it on his own time. Don't push him into it. If he loves you enuf, he will come around to popping the question. He could be waiting for the right time.
