1_Expressing violence in a dream by killing someone may indicate that you are extremely angry in waking life: angry with yourself or with another person or the society, in general. This dream comes as a relief of your bad emotions and repressed negative feelings and it contributes to your ability to be in control.
2_If you dream of running from something or somebody, it is a sign that you are dissatisfied with something in your life and want to run away from current problems, maybe even feelings.
3_Dreams about your brothers and sisters may represent characteristics which you admire or dislike about your siblings or about yourself.

4_Pain is a sign of emotions stressed to the limit and offense. Dreaming about pain usually refers to the "emotional" pain in real life. Seeing other people in pain may indicate that your behavior hurts them or puts their lives in danger.
....This dream may hint that you are not getting as much pleasure out of life as you could.or it could reflect your need for more space and freedom.

I think you might want to get rid of the idea that dreams "mean" something. I often have nightmares, last year more than this year, but frankly, every vehement dream is a "nightmare" for me. I think the most sensible thing that has ever been said of dreams is the following:

"Dreams are at once fruit & outcry against an atrophy of the senses."
[Jim Morrison.]

Merriam-Webster defines atrophy as "a wasting away or progressive decline". As I see it (and experience it), a vehement dream is a warning that you are sinking too deep into the unconscious. As Morrison said, "sleep is an underocean dipped into each night". I read in another question of yours that your dreams gave you a fear of death. You might want to know that in Greek mythology, Sleep was the brother of Death. This is because a waking person is alive compared to a sleeping person, just as a sleeping person is alive compared to a dead person. Utter unconsciousness is only attained in death. Look at your conscious mind as a gas burner. In sleep, the flame is reduced to a pilot light. It is never completely extinguished, except in death. When the flame gets too small, however, your consciousness starts to struggle for survival. This struggle is experienced by you as a dream.

The best thing for you to do, then, is to wake up. Either get up and stay awake (if you have slept enough, and it is not a bad time to be awake), or do the following. This is something I heard once and have used ever since. If you go back to sleep after a nightmare, there is a good chance that you will go back to that nightmare. However, if you drink a glass of water, you will not. So go drink that glass of water. The way I see it, it is like "watering the plant" of consciousness, whose branches are the senses. The plant is atrophying (withering), so you need to water it. I hope this helps.

We often let our subconscious mind deal with unresolved issues in our conscious mind. It sounds like you probably have some unresolved guilt and anxiety that you need to resolve. I would guess that you are a person who has some kind of responsibility or possibly a burden that you are charged to take on. Can you think of what this responsibility might be? You might have a fear that either a) you are not capable of handling this responsibility, or b) you may be doing a poor job handling it. How much trust do you have in yourself? Possibly you need someone to help you before things get out of control and you do something irresponsible. The fact that you were hiding underwater may also represent your fear of drowning under the weight.

Either that, or you've just watched too many action/adventure movies.

Good luck.

haha....why think so much?
maybe its a subconcious effort for your mind to tell you that you are doing something you are not supposed to...or maybe its your mind telling you that you actually want to do something crazy...not kill people of course but something not allowed.
dont worry so much about it.
