All you crying baby should stop crying . Italy would beat Australia 99 out of 100 times if the games are play at neutral site .
It was a foul and it's a PK .
BTW , I dont see any Italians crying about that red card which caused them to play on 10 players . That wasn't a red card , a yellow is a correct card .
- To receive a red card you have to be the last man of the defense when you commit a foul .
Italy deserves to be in the Final , fair and square . They've suffered so much in the last 4 WCs , losing 3 of them by Penalty Kicks , also lost to Korea due to "controvery ****" ahem ...

Calm down mate. This stuff happens. Germany was in a piece of cake group compared to the US, Ghana, Chech republic group that Italy was in. Ukraine is a formidable team. Although Australia were new comers they were quite a nice surprise for everyone. And although I am Italian I will admit that we got a lucky call against the Aussies.
Now you are determining a teams worthiness of being in the finals with the opponents they have faced. Okey then here is another one for you. Argentina was picked to win the tournament. Argentina also destroyed their group of DEATH as many called it. The Germans beat that Argentine team and we beat them. And fare and square in the best match the tournament had to offer to date. Germans were also fantastic, the game was fantastic.

italy is in the final and after 2 late goals against germany, they showed the integrity and perseverence to win the cup.

You forgot to mention , how they played the USA , the USA should have win !
well , Italy had the luck on their side, the same with Portugal. .....
but it is just a game and everything is possible in soccer.....
I would give Australia the sympathy and fair play award if I could.....it was a pleasure to see them playing :-)
