Great question.
Amazon is not the answer but you can get a lot of information, and opinions of others concerning a book you are considering buying, at that site. (Barns &Noble is not bad too).
Also web site www.abebooks.com

I believe Amazon does ...particularly if you are searching for a used book.

I've been able to find them there!
