Turning off aging in The Sims 2?

You see, I really love this game. Butt quite frankly, I'm getting frustrated at the annoying aging system in The SIms 2. I tried the aging cheat so many ways, and it doesn't work. Can anyone give me the aging off cheat exactly the way you type it in to the console window? PLEASE tell me the exact key buttons to press and where to space them out!

Ctrl + shift + C (all at once) then type "aging off" (without the quotes), then hit enter.

aging off (Sims don't get older)
aging on (Sims start aging again)
