Unless he got it from you then you need to leave him! UTI isn't something men get on their own(not saying it doesnt happen but its dam sure not common)! Aslo, you might look further than UTI and get tested! If it is a UTI you can go to the doctors and get some pills to get ride of it, but I seriously doubt it is that unless a doc told you but he would have issued him some pills!

It can be very easily treated with antibiotics.
The treatment would make him alright for daily life within a couple of days. However, he may need to take the medicines for a few more days depending upon his condition.
Untreated UTI may infect you also, if you are sexually active with him.

Ask your doctor to prescribe pyridium which would help with the discomfort when he has to urinate. also inquire about antibiotics. the pyridium may discolor the urine, but its only temporary. he will feel better in a matter of days.
