If the cord was around the baby's neck it might have suffered slight brain damage due to restricted oxygen supply. The anxiety could be a sign of a larger issue - has the child been tested for side effects?

The baby isn't going to remember that. Baby's up to 3 or 4 months ( I do believe) only have a memory span of up to 24 or 30 seconds.
I just had a baby and I have a program called Birth to Five come to the house and they tell us all about babies' development. Plus, I read that somewhere.

It's more likely that the child is just hyperactive. Maybe has ADD or ADHD.

My nephew (hes 21) was born with the cord around his neck & hes just a normal guy.

No.Baby`s mind is not influenced by umbilical cord.
