Why are you kissing her? Do you really love her? Are you working on building a long lasting relationship with her? If so then maybe the answer is that it is o.k. and if there really is true and meaningful love and not just lust then in time your friend will probably understand and eventually support you both.

However, if you are just caught up in the moment, having a fling, just having fun, getting back at your friend, etc. Then you are hurting not just your friend but her also. Is that the kind of person you want to be? I'm sure it's not or you would not have asked the world this question.

Just be careful - a kiss can carry a lifetime of memories and emotions with it. Never say "it was just a kiss".

If you kiss your friends ex, you are not a real friend. How would you feel if someone broke up with you ( and you still had feeling for that person) and your best freind got together with that person. Then they got married and you were asked to be in the wedding party. Some feelings last a long time. It is best not to get involved with a friends ex. There are so many other people to choose from.

Yeah, there is an unwritten man rule that addresses that topic. A man shall not engage in any sort of physical relationship with a friend's: wife, girlfriend, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, etc. This includes all "ex"s. If the man gets written consent from their buddy, when they're not drunk, then and only then is it ok. From my experience, it's not worth it. You'll usually end up upsetting your friend over some girl, that probably isn't worth it anyway. If she wasn't good enough for your mate, why are you wasting your time with her???

Are you tagging along after your 'best mate' trying to pick up whoever he's done with? Kiss a girl for your own self - 'cause you like her, and she likes you.

In a way it is, because hey she’s available right, but did you ever think about how your “BEST” friend is feeling, knowing you’re the only one he can trust and to him you probably just broke it. Grow up man, ex’s are just a big NO NO, I’d h8 my best friend if she ever did that to me, ex’s are always off limit.

1. if they are fighting or not talking terms but might or trying to get back together I would say no that in a sense would be called Bird dogging him

2. if it was a plane clean cut with no signs of getting together then yes
