he messages me and says he misses me and will definetely see me again and again .. but would he just say this because he is lonely over there,,, we have met and spent a few days together while he was home. what should i do?? any suggestions on this?? thank you

he works for the US embassy!! so although noone is safe there and i worry about him everyday, this situation is a little different than actually being in the military and fighting everyday with these idiot over there

Yes he loves you with his honest feelings , do not allow these type of thinking in your little mind . Keep talking to him and keep writing to him , he is your's and will certainly come back to you .Look forward to enjoy your future.

I think that you need to ease up a bit. You can;t have a normal relationship in that kind of atmosphere. Be there for him, be one of the non stressful things in his life. When he get's back is a better time to think about that. Give him your support, honesty and love and he'll return it.

Take it easy on him, he might really care about you if he still makes time to write and talk to you, it obviously means he is thinking about you.
