yes, you can get pregnant after a miscarriage, dont worry
about getting pregnant toward the end of ur period...- pregnancy happens only around ur ovulation, few days before or on the actual day you ovulate
you could google ovulation calculator and u get plenty of sites that calculate ur possible fertile days , or buy an ovulation predictor kit ( drugstores ), use it in the afternoons ( best between 2-4 pm ) and have intercourses when the test shows positive.
if you have never used those tests before, go with the digital ones, they are easier to read
good luck

You can get pregnant when you are fertile. You are only fertile for a few days each cycle--right before you ovulate, and *never* on the first 5 days of your period (except *maybe* if you are approaching menopause). A woman ovulates about 2 weeks (usually 12-16 days) before her *next* period. Sperm can live in the human body for up to 3-5 days if conditions are right.

So...if you have a 26 day cycle, you probably ovulate between days 10 and 14. If you ovulate closer to the 10, you *may* be fertile on day 7, even if you still have your period.

This is complicated by the fact that after a miscarriage, you may be irregular for a few cycles. So, you may *know* you have a 26 day cycle, but the first one may, in fact, be a 35 day cycle, followed by 30 days, then 32, then back to 26. So there is no way to know...

Don't bother with an online ovulation calendar. Under the *best* of circumstances, they only give information about a mythical "average" woman, and, by definition, are therefore usually wrong. (Consider that if you expect *every* woman you meet to be exactly 5'4" tall because that's average, you'll rarely be right!) And an ovulation predictor kit isn't very useful right after a miscarriage because you are likely to be irregular. If you want to increase your chances of conceiving, then read _Taking Charge of Your Fertility_ by Toni Weschler. The book explains how to determine when you are about to ovulate so that you can time sex for maximum chance of getting pregnant.

not usually, unless you have a 2 week or longer period, or were on the pill and suddenly go off it then.
