i wasted half a box of tampax tampons just trying to get it in right lolz and then finally i did. stupid me, i didn't even put the whole applicator in me before i shoot the tampon in me. so you need to hold the rings for your fingers and hold it with your thumb and middle finger and then insert it in your vagina gently but firmly and stop when your tumb and middle finger touch your vagina. Then, you use your index finger and push the other tube and then, when it is completely in the first tube, pull both tubes out.. and you shouldn't feel any discomfort.

Some girls, like yourself, have a narrow vulva. It can be cause for pain and discomfort when trying to insert tampons or attempting to have sexual intercourse. There is nothing wrong with you. This happens to quite a few women. You may want to consult your physician or OB/GYN for advice and help in dealing with this dilemma. Don't wallow in sorrow when you can go and get help. Just because the other girls can use tampons, it doesn't make you any less of a young woman then they are. It just makes you more unique is all. Unique is a good thing. They have been making great stride and improvements with super absorbent mini pads. Just stick to them for now until things improve. In many instances these things work themselves out over time. You are young and are just beginning to blossom into a young lady. Don't rush it or sweat it. Now is a time for emotional, mental and physical changes that mark your entry into maturity. Don't fight it as it will make things worse. Just relax and embrace your new found womanhood. Good luck and I hope that you feel better.

I would just use a pad, especially within the first few years after u get ur period. but ur problem probably is what everyone has said, try slimfits, and i recommend playtex plastic slimfits, card board is harder to deal with for me, but if u really wanna use tampons (and once you get used to them they are easier) make sure that u hold the applicator in the right spot and that the top of ur fingers touch urself before u pull the applicator out. thats all in the instructions so probably ur just not on heavy enough of a flow, or since ur young ur just not that...flexible yet. Even if ur friends CAN use them, that doesn't mean u have to. Try just using pads this month, and try again next month with tampons, and dont think about it, it'll stop being uncomfortable when u forget about it, and honestly, I'm 18 and a lot of my friends still use pads, and my sister uses them most of the time, so theres nothing wrong with that, and who needs to know. And frankly as well, it still hurts me occasionally when i take them out, try to take them out once you know that they're fuller. it does hurt if theyre not very full and u try to pull them out. but really, theres nothing wrong with pads (always or kotex work well). good luck darlin.

Playtex tampons are small than most. There is also a junior size for young teenage girls that are smaller the the regular tampon for younger girls. If the junior size doesn't work and still hurts, suggest using sanitary pads. They are thinner and stuck to the crotch of your underwear. You may have to wait until u are in high school to wear tampons. You maybe be to small for even the junior tampons but they are the smallest.

I would see a female doc, you might also try the slender ones, I have a hard time wearing tampons too. I have to buy the unscented ones. Try switching brands, I use Tampax regular absorbency, when i get on my very light day flow i have to wear a pad. I like always with wings. Relax like mom says. Good luck

It could be the wrong size, or absorbency. Try the smallest one. And PS. I couldnt use a tampon until after I had a child. Im 30.

make sure it is all the way in before you take the applicator out..otherwise it will hurt...you shouldnt be able to feel them while theyre in. you may want to try a lower absorbancy..i bet you could get the slend kind that are smaller...its easier to put them in during your heavier flow. on your last day (maybe two) you could just use a pad. good luck.

I would try using one when you are at your heaviest flow. Just follow the instructions. If that doesn't work...there is nothing wrong with using pads. Good luck to you.
