I’ve worked in electronic service for a number of years for a manufacturer of portable electronics that would get submerged from time to time. You just have to believe me that this will work:
Take it apart as much as you can. Remove the battery, sim card, back and if you have someone around that is confident enough to take it apart further have them do it.
Put it in an open place… inside with air-conditioning works as well as out in the sun. Leave it there for a full “two” weeks. Do not even attempt to turn it on or install the battery within that time.
If you dropped it in a swimming pool, bathtub, rain water you are in luck. If you dropped it in a lake or pond you can forget it. Algae, spores, and mold actually grows across the circuit and becomes conductive with slight humidity.
We use to use a high pressure air compressor and blow them out real well but we still let them sit for two weeks (one week wasn’t an option). After the two weeks, I’d say about 80% of them worked. However, those dropped in a lake would return in a couple of months.
We tried washing them with an anti-algae, anti-mold, MEK, all sorts of acids and bleach… none worked. They would be back in a few months.
The key to it is letting it sit and never attempt to place it in an oven as this doesn’t speed up the process as you would think.
This information came directly from the factory that had experienced thousands of situations of circuits getting wet.

properly you incredibly a lot did all you may do for it Letting it dry is the in straight forward words thanks to placed it aside If its no longer operating then i guess you're out of success even notwithstanding a co-wroker of mine had a telephone which began operating proper about a three hundred and sixty 5 days after it were given moist yet I doubt you could wait that lengthy with slightly of luck you had a alternative plan on it because you're gonna want a sparkling one

Open your phone and dry it out completely. It's OK to use the blow dryer but no high heat, you might damage some components. If the phone does not work contact me and I might be able to suggest some places that sell cell phones really cheap. Good Luck

Get a zip lock baggie and fill it will rice... Put your phone in it over night and the rice will absorb the water. Funny, my pops just told me that today!

Insurance doesnt cover it, they explain that if it gets wet its your fault.(@ leats with Cingular) :( You can try to pass it off like it was a technical difficulty.
