This site is anonymous, so please be as honest as you possibly can. The question is: Would you EVER have an extra-marital affair? I understand if you can't answer--perhaps your spouse knows your avatar or your Yahoo Answers name. Be frank with your reasons why you would or why you wouldn't. The only variable of the question is: NO ONE would EVER find out about it, unless you told someone.

I never would for alot of reasons. First because of my beliefs, second because of my self esteem and my conscience. And third because no matter what somehow someway it will come out. I do have children and would not be able to live with the fact that because of a poor choice that I made I may alter their family forever. As far as being happy, I would say I am not overly happy but am content. If I felt the desire to be with someone else I would leave whoever I was with first. Good Luck with your assignment

No I would never. Maybe noone would find out. But I would know. I wouldn't be able to be myself with my wife anymore. She would eventually find out. Besides that, if I wasn't getting something at home that I needed I would talk to my wife about it. That is usually the only reason people go out of the marriage. They need something they aren't getting at home. COMMUNICATION is the key to a good, honest, trustworthy, and loving marriage. Also, I am a Christian so I believe adultery is very wrong.

No I wouldn't. I have cheated on every boyfriend I have ever had. I am married now and have 2 little kids. Even when the going is tough, I won't cheat. This is because I believe in family. My parents are divorced. My husband is the best man in the world. He would never cheat on me. My God, husband, and kids matter far too much to me to ever cheat.

First of all, in response to your question: NO. I would never cheat on my wife. That, to me is breaching the contract I made with my wife before G-d. Secondly, there are many STD's in the environment, and quite frankly, a condom can tear. . .Why would I want to carry that burden on my shoulders? And third, on a humorous note, I have enough trouble as it is dealing with one. I don't see myself dealing with two!!

Now, do note that when you say that no one would ever find out. . .that is a myth. The truth is always known. It always surfaces. That is when the real trouble begins.

Hope this answers your question.

No, I would not.
The reason is that I would be hurting my whole family. Even if no one would find out, I would know & my actions would be affected accordingly, no matter how much I tried not to let it show. I would be betraying my children's father, which would in turn be betraying them. How could I look my kids in the eye and tell them that? If I couldn't tell them, I wouldn't do it!! I love my kids enough to work ANYTHING out with their dad!!!

I try and treat people with the same amount of respect that I want to be treated with. This means that I NEVER would cheat on my husband no matter what my circumstances were. Even if he would never know, the point is that I would know every time I looked at him that I had done that. It is disrespectful to my husband and a disrespect to myself!

No, if I was that unhappy with my spouse, I would leave before ever becoming involved with someone else. I took vows, and unlike some people, I paid attention to what I was saying.

There are many times in a man's life when he is led to temptation. Even Jesus was led to temptation by the devil himself! The key to overcoming the urge to temptation, in this case, adultery, is to stick out your chest and rebuke the urge. It doesn't make it less evil if it remains a secret. By resisting the temptation, you avoid the sin. By taking my wife and 2 children into consideration, I have to resist the temptation in order to live with the thought of them thinking less of me and hating me. I have to ask myself, "how would I feel if they saw me doing this? They mean too much to me to ever want to lose that love and admiration. Since my sons are teens, they are very observant of my behavior. They will soon behave like me, so it must be honorable.

No, never.
I am married to the man that I love, and I married him because I love him, we dated/were engaged for two years. We know everything about one another, he is my other half. Why would I want to chop off my arm? Because to me, that would be the equivalent of having an affair.

I wouldn't, but my husband has repeatedly with the same woman, he even brought home gifts she has given him and claimed that he bought them for himself. I can't see dis-respecting myself, my marriage, or him like that. I can't leave him because i am a stay at home mom, which he knows and takes advantage of whenever possible. He made me most angry when he emailed her videos of our babies through his cell phone, and when i asked him about it he told me it was not my business because i don't pay the bills. Besides, what would i want with another man if they are like him?
