A protective order requires him to remain "X" distance from you. It also may limit his contact with you of any kind.
His going into your e mail account and reading your e mails does not seem to meet either criteria.
Change your e mail address, or at least set up a separate e mail account and use that. Let the jokes and spam come to the account he has the password to.

It is not a violation, but a judge will consider it seriously in a custody hearing. Meanwhile, you know you can email under a different account so it's not a big deal. Let him hang himself while you are emailing elsewhere. Keep a record of all of his activity. Hire a lawyer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

There you go...your already giving into him. STOP IT!! Change your password...NOW!! If you don't,it means your not serious about the whole thing. Ask someone at a Battered Women's shelter about the law on e-mail's.Besides,it sound's to me like you need to talk to them anyway.

-probably not a violation of the order. But, a sympathetic judge might be convinced. Give it a try and good luck.

No, he's not contacting you,but it is a violation of privacy.Well it would be if you were'nt allowing him to do it.I think you're trying to set him up like my lying assed ex.I hope I'm wrong.Life is too short for stupid games.
