i am from india and i want to know the prerequisites of starting a political party i also want to know if there are any political parties started by young people

Basically, all you need to do is gather a group of people that feel the same way you do, and then name your group. Then, when you or someone from your party is running for office, just have them run under your party. You will have to pay fees to get onto most any ballot, and they can be pretty steep sometimes. Starting a party is not the hard part. Getting onto the ballot with that party's name is. Call your state's election committee and find out what that takes.

I just now considered that you are from India. Does that mean you're there now, or you moved from India. This information is how it pertains to the U.S. I imagine it's close to the same there, but either way, the best people to ask are the people that run the elections.

I don't know if there have been parties started by young folks, but I do very much incourage it! You have just as much right to state your opinion as a 70 year old, so go for it! In my city there was a 25 year old running for city council. I didn't vote for him because he didn't match my political beliefs, but I respected a young person having the balls to go up against the experience! Point being, if there hasn't been, you could be the youngest person in history to start a political party! That'd be exciting!

run for an office...run as a rep for your new party
