Some ways that I have adopted in being kind to people include letting other drivers out into traffic or left turn across my lane, looking behind me when entering a building to hold the door for someone behind me and saying good morning to people when approaching. As for the earth, I always respect the litter laws and recycle guidelines to keep our earth a little neater than it was 10 or 20 years ago. All these have become part of my daily routine that I could not remember when or why I didn't do these acts. I feel so much better when I practice these acts to others, that is God's way of stroking our head and saying, Good job!

I practice kindness in every way I can....which is not easy now-a-days! I am "old school", so I believe very strongly in the simple courtesies that so many people have forgotten about. That may seem small, but it can mean the world to someone who is hanging by their last strand of sanity. I try not to judge,
and I try to make someone laugh who is having a bad day (strangers included). Give change to someone who may come up short, say "please" and "thank you" - look at your customers if you work in sales - and look at your waiter/waitress when dining out just don't bark orders at them..... simple little things that mean so much.
And of course don't get mad or get your feelings hurt when your kindness is rewarded with rudeness....that is the most important thing to remember in this day and age! LoL

In any way I can, as long as it is morally correct. There is nothing finer (at least for me) than doing right, nice, kind things for people, friends and the earth. What can beat the feeling you get when you do something to make someone feel good, better, smile, laugh, appreciate, etc.?

There will always be situations that will make you feel like reacting negatively but it is your reaction that determines the impact on the people involved. I always try to put myself in the other person's shoes to empathize with them and understand what actions will make them comfortable/satisfied.
Also, one thing I've started to do recently: when paying for anything, I always say a little "bless you" when giving the money. I try to remember that I am not just buying a product or service but supporting someone's livelihood and helping them improve their quality of life. This makes me understand the deeper implication and need for trade beyond just the superficial transaction.

I am answering your question in a kind manner. Put yourself in the other person's shoes and think how that would feel, than act accordingly. If you are a Christian WWJD?
