The only reason why you wouldn't be able to assume normal activities like sex and bike riding is if you are in danger of miscarrying your child. If you are having any cramping or abnormal bleeding, you shouldn't be doing much of anything besides laying down and taking it easy. You should definitely see a doctor as soon as possible though. I'm curious, who told you not to have sex or ride your bike? Best wishes!!!!

Although you don't state your age, you sound rather young. Only by the way in which you express yourself in your writing. If the docter is saying not to do these things, it's probably that you have shown yourself to be a high risk pregnancy, in which case you shouldn't do anything until it can be proven that this is a viable pregnancy. Under normal circumstances however, sex is not going to harm the embroyo or fetus. Your baby is well protected in the embroyonic fluids and the uterus from shock like jolts , bumps, or the thrusts of intercourse.
But in cases where the mother is at high risk for miscarriage, these activities could detach the embroyo and it won't develop properly, or you may miscarry.
You may consider using the remaining months of your pregnancy practicing syntax and sentence structure. If mom doesn't write well or speak properly, baby won't either.
Just a grammar school teacher giving you a heads up for what's in store for you and your child. Good Luck! You'll need it.

I'm not sure about the bicycle thing.

But who is telling you this? Is it your doctor, if so, you should listen. Some women can't, or shouldn't, have sex while pregnant because of history of miscarriage or incompetent cervix (I think that's what they call it). If your cervix isn't the way it should be the doctor might tell you not to have sex.

If it was someone else, that's not true unless your doctor says no. Sex is actually good for the pregnancy and the orgasms help the uterus get ready for labor because when you have an orgasm your uterus contracts, therefore makes labor a little bit easier.

I don't see why you wouldn't be aloud to ride a bike, it's better than some things and excersising is good during pregnancy.

WHO asked these things of you? A doctor? If it was a doctor, obey him! Otherwise that sounds like nonsense to me. None of that is harmful to the baby. Sex certainly isn't. Riding your bike wouldn't be either, esecially if you are already used to riding your bike. Although you should be more careful about not falling, etc. It's not a good time to take up some physical activity you aren't used to doing though.

I've never heard of anything so absurd. I have 3 very healthy children and my sex life didn't change one little bit when I found out I was pregnant. Actually, I felt a little more horny, so sex was better.

Enjoy this time of you life, it only lasts 9 months. Unless you have a medical condition that could harm your unborn baby, then I see no reason why you cannot have sex.

Congratulations.

If a doctor (ob.gyn) told you this then you need to listen to her and you should call her or him and find out why, but if you were told this things by someone else other thatn a doctor you should call a doctor and asked if it is ok, but as for me i am 18 weeks preg. and i still have sex really i have more sex now then i did before, if you do start to get cramp below your belly botton than you should slak off alittle, so you should ask a doctor. My doctor said it was fine for me to have sex, but every one is different.

The First to Third month u better not have sex. You will kill the baby in your womb. Because sex is too rough.. Even u go slow. Your baby in the stomache is still not stable yet. Wait till its Fourth to Fifth month .. Then onli u could have sex. Be patients ..

caz you don't want to give your unborn child AIDS or an STD do you okay less say that you are with one gay and he is the father then maybe. Sex while you are pregnant is good even the doctors tell you to have sex caz it loosens you up and will make it easier for you to give birth to the baby and less painful. If you do have sex pretext your self.

sex in no way harms the baby, you can have sex up until your third trimester. The only thing they tell you not to do is heavy lifting and cleaning cat litter. Other than that your activities are up to what you feel you can do and what your doctor tells you not to do. Talk to him/her it'll help

Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, you can keep having sex until day your baby pops out... Some advise sex to induce labor.
