Wrong, definitely. He shouldn't have lost his temper like that. England basically lost because of him (and of beckham but he's not bad cuz he got hurt)...

Look yeah Cristiano should have not got involved but he is passionate for his country , so he was defending his teammate whether he wanted rooney off or not we will never know but Rooney needs to control his temper cause if he never pushed ronaldo he probably would have only given a free kick away cause some say it was not on puropse but if it was then it was definately a red card.

I think they're both big babies that need to learn to grow up and take responsibility for their own actions.
And just for the record, Ronaldo's actions had nothing to do with Rooney's sending off. He was sent off for stomping on the Portuguese guy's (I think it was Tiago) nuts.

All he did was shove him and tell him to shut up...Ronaldo is a big faker who will get his when he returns to the premier league next season...he will be hurt for real and all the whining won;t do him any good...

but christiano Ronaldo being his club mate knew that he had a bad temper ......and i think he deliberately tried to excite Rooney resulting in the red card...

he has a reason to be angry at him, after all they r teammates, and we all know Ronaldo always has issues with his teammates, Pauleta should know about that, he has talent but he needs to grow up and learn how to play for his teams and not to show off
