Darren McFadden

He was 4th in the conference in rushing last year (1,113 yards) with only 176 carries. As apposed to Kenny Irons who lead the conference with 1,293 on 256 carries !!! The razorbacks will without question pound the football more this year with McFadden and Felix Jones because they will need to take pressure of true freshman QB Mitch Mustain. The run game will have to be established early an often for them to be successful. I'll be looking for McFadden to tote the rock at least 250 times this year.

I could see either Kenny Irons or Ken Darby being right behind Darren. (HEY TILLER) As for Georgia's Thomas Brown... although he's quite talented, it's tough to lead the league in rushing when you share the load with Danny Ware and Kregg Lumpkin... (you know I know you like GA). He probably wont even have more yards than Kentucky's Rafael Little or LSU's Alley Broussard !!! It just is what it is man !!! No disrespect... HA HA HA HA

Kenny Irons will definitely be the best SEC RB this year. He's got the speed and athleticism to dominate, plus he's a work horse. And yes I can see the argument for McFadden, but would he have the stamina to carry the rock 256 times. I think not.

I could also make an argument for the Tide's Ken Darby, he's really good, but he won't be good in the NFL like Irons will.

I'm an Auburn fan, but I'll have to go with McFadden, too. That guy is a phenomenon. However, it remains to be seen if the rest of the Arkansas team will help him produce.
