Always enjoyed entertaining my family and friends on the fourth with fireworks. It brought people together to have a good time and to forget about the stress of everyday life. I understand why you feel it is a waste of money because there is no material gain to be had when you purchase and blow off the fireworks. But I will say the best summer parties I have ever had involved fireworks, and the fourth is when I got engaged so fireworks will always hold a special place for me.

i agree. but seeing them sparkling in the sky is spectacular. just make sure you dont buy fireworks, let the neighbors do it and just watch.
as with the government budget used on grand fireworks displays on holidays....such a waste.

i agree spend 30 or 40 dollars that laST ABOUT 5 TO 10 MINS WHAT A WASTE

i agree and disagree. they cost so much and sometimes they dont even do what you think they were gonna do but on the plus side i love to watch them and in the end no they probably werent worth all the money but were still a great thing to do!

I think that life support systems, birthday cakes, fast food, and present bought for holidays are the greatest waste of money.
