The beach!!! The smell of the ocean, the waves... Most lakes are dirty & stinky (don't flame me, this is just my opinion!) unless you go to Tahoe or someplace like that. And you can find a hotel with a pool anywhere, they are a perk of a trip, not a destination in themselves!
