There is ALWAYS a next level to take any relationship....Spice it up a little, dont let it get "old" being married 14 years to the same man, it never gets old...still feels like we are newlyweds! Try lingerie, sex toys, videos, a romantic night out, dancing together, dinner, use your imagination..........It WILL take you places you have never been before :)

I've been married 16 yrs and i have to say that yes it has become more of a habit these days, the love is still there but the flame in the passion has gradually died down. It feels like a best friend thing, I agree with that.

Great question, all i know that you have to be best friends to stay married for a long time if you pick on each other and you nit pick at everything the person dose and complain and complain all the time then you wil not be good friends just a nag..
so getting older with a person is great lets just home one of you can deal with the lips being closed and the heart being as pure as gold.

I think it does get old. I've been married for 5 yrs and yeah I was so in love with her when we first met now its like a 50's show when I come home,"honey I'm home" and thats about it. I don't know if it's some comfort zone we're just stuck in or what but it's getting old. But if this don't work out no more marriage for me.

yes......... lol but thats not a bad thing the butterflies are long since gone but the more your with someone the more comfortable you feel like a pair of shoes so much so that these shoes are better then new find your stride with your best friend there will be hot nights in your future if you can really enjoy your spouse being a best friend by day and lover at night.

When you have been married for a long time it can most definitely get old. Sometimes you get comfortable and you get set in your ways.Things like cleaning the house, and cooking can become very mundane. You have to keep it fresh by trying new things and keep surprising each other. People sometimes start to cheat on each other when they have been together for along time.

Yes, its supposed to but after that it gets better and you no longer think of it feeling old but exciting all over again. its natures way of keeping married people together. SO, hang in there the best is yet to come

You just need some spark in your life!! Go do something! Marriage does get boring but add some excitement! Maybe go out together or see a movie! Go to the amusement park!

You will feel that its old if either one of you, or both of you, lose your passion..
Stressful times area big culprit of this, trust me..
I am going through the same situation and I hate it, I am trying my hardest to make it change. I realize it is not going to happen over night either, but to me its worth a shot!!!
I hate having to think about feeling as if I have a "roommate", not a husband/lover...
