Weather or not you live here, it does not matter. I'm really not sure myself, because I don't really know too much about the ways of many other countries. With my question I mean how it's run, the economy, their laws or judicial system and stuff like that. Being Indipendance day and all just made me wonder if we should be proud to be here as opposed to other countries. What if we were born in another country, would we want to move to the USA, because we feel it's somehow superior or yet still brag about our home country.

I hope no one gets offended but...

I think even though the US has more things and sizes, it is literally the dumbest country. Children from ages 6-18 don't know half as much as other countries.

One guy from New Zealand went to the US and no one knew where was Australia. The teens thought it was a state!

And did you see the DVD on the McDonalds freak and how he experimented on eating McDonalds for one month, well many of the kids only knew about McDonalds. They even got Bush mixed up with Jesus. Its not that they have to know that religion but it is the main religion of America.

All the stupid shows come from the United States and they are just plain stupid.

You asked and I gave you my answer. The US can change but it's gonna be hard to have a new country. What happened to the most powerful country in the world before????

yes it is. it is not perfect but it is the best. it has any kind of climate u could possibly want. you have more freedoms here then anyother country. we address the issues of racisim and are much farther advanced in that than most of europe. our government while it could be corrupt is one of the most stable. we know bush will be gone in 08. we haven't had a new governemtal form in over 200 yrs. you cna become anything u want to or live your life in anyway you want as long as it doesn't inhibit the rights of others. we are the blue print that most of the world tries to copy. its not perfect but nothing in life is.

o yea that dude above me is wrong how do you major how much other children in other countries know and compare it ours. do they have tests that measure common sense. most kids can operate computers by the time they are in 3rd grade. most kids here can take care of themselves and get themselves ready for school on there own by the time they are 2nd grade. the other kids might have more knowledge but can they apply it better than us no i dont think so. otherwise they would have unseated us as a world power by now.and maybe our kids could concentrate on school work more if it weren't for the big companies overworking our parents causing us to grow up faster than other countries. most other countries don't have 40 hr wks its bout 32.

the problem with our country is we let the rich rule the majority aka the poor and the rich aren't lookin for the good of the country but for their own pocketbooks. whcih corrupts the government and causes homeless people look at these big companies expecting people to survive off of $7 an hour. and the colleges and medical fields dont help with their unexplainable rocketing costs. there is no reason going into the docs to have look at you and it costs 50-100 bucks wit out insurance. how does it cost almost as much as a house to go to school.
LIKE I SAID IT IS NOT PERFECT but IT IS THE BEST AND MOST FREE COUNTRY IN THE UNIVERSE.

I believe so. This is a great nation to live in and untill the republican party screwed the economy a great place to work.
Go visit a 3rd world country and see how human rights are or enviromental rights are abused just to name a couple.
And to those of you who dont like living here I suggest you leave.
and dont let the door hit you on the a** on the way out!!!

It really is the best. While aspects of other countries may seem appealing, they too have their respective drawbacks. No country is perfect. Be grateful that you can openly entertain the thought. Not many cultures have such a freedom.
