I would'd bother trying to change anyone.
The effort is not always worth it. Agree to disagree.
All you can do is lead by example, i guess.

Not enough information there to know where you are going with your question. If Jane is thinking about money because she is in debt and needs more, help her out with suggesting a better job maybe. If she wants more money because she wants to buy more "stuff," perhaps you can show her ways to get along without having to spend her limited resources on stuff she really doesn't need. The main things it be in a position to try and offer her alternatives.

I think your friend is a golddigger or she likes using people with money. She knows people will give it to her and she takes advantage of it. I don't know what you can tell her only except to be honest to her and show her how she looks. A few people in my family have this same problem and there is no way to help them unless there was no money to give. They need to learn to survive without money.

She sounds very shallow. Maybe she just has nothing else in her life, or she lacks self-repect and thinks having money makes her seem successful to others. Unfortunately , she is looking in the wrong place for happiness!

Tell her anecdotes of people who have had to pay the price for greed. Gambling stories for example. Don't let her learn the hard way. Setting an example is a good start.

Why should you? Every person is different. It is her goal and let her achieve it as long as she is trying to do it ethically. If she is not then try to tell her the importance of morality in life. But will not help, probably.

There once was an old man who was very wealthy. He said to his wife, "When I die, I want to be buried with all of my money." A few years later, he died. At the funeral, she wrote him a check.

You can't take it with you!
