I sent a letter apologizing for something that happened 15 yrs ago...yes he would remember what happened...it had to of affected his life profoundly. When I see him in public, I can tell he wants to speak to me but he is afraid to. I sent him a letter via his brother because I don't want to cause him problems at home, but I forgot to give him my contact info. Should I send my cell number via his brother in case he wants to talk to me, or should I just leave it alone?

Just leave it alone, if he wants to get in touch he can send the brother to you with a message.

Are you a teacher by any chance?

Anyway, I think if you really want to contact this guy just do it. Face to face. Leave the brother out of it and settle this thing between the two of youse.

Things always happen for a reason, even the thing that happened so long ago. I would let God handle it. Wait it out and see what happens. You obviously found a way to get to him. If he wants to talk he will find you too.

Leave it alone. If he really wants to contact you he will find a way.
The ball is in his court. Believe me when I say that he is thinking about it, but respect his space and his life. He will let you know.

If he is willing to contact you he may go through his brother just like you did.... other wise you said you what you had to and it is up to him now... 15 yrs is a long time.... don't be too pushy it might make things worse...

I suggest you give your contact information to the brother IF you wish to speak with the man. Invite him to contact you if he wishes to, but go no further than that. If you see him in public, I strongly suggest you approach him gently and say hello.

Dont start something you left behind 15 years ago. He may land up into some problems again.

Leave it alone. If it's that important to him, he'll contact your brother.
