Internet slang consists of slang that users of the Internet have developed and utilized. Many of its terms originated with the purpose of saving keystrokes, (for example, "u" for "you", "r" for "are", "4" for "for", etc.) as a result many use the same abbreviations in text messages (see txt). The terms often appear in lower case, with capitals often reserved for emphasis — the pronoun "I", for example, often appears simply as "i".

Hmm, well "LMAO" is usually what's used online to say "Laughing my *** off". But in your question you asked what does LAMO mean. If that isn't a typo, then lamo is just another way of saying something is lame. Just stupid slang.

If you did mean to type LMAO then yeah that's been in use for years. Other ones you might find useful to know are
LOL (Laugh out loud)
ROFL (Roll on the floor laughing)
WTF (What the f***)
BTW (By the way)
TTYL (Talk to you later)
BRB (Be right back)
IMHO (In my humble opinion)
AFK (Away from keyboard)

P.S. = "post script" that's a concept you upload after winding up a letter. this is incredibly stupid to apply them in recent times, considering you are able to edit your typing and placed the thought interior the physique of the letter formerly printing it. interior the previous, they have been utilized so as which you probably did not ought to write a letter yet back in case you forgot some thing.
