i guess that's the best way. And firebolt + gillyweed = faster rescuing time, and faster time to run away from the antagonists under the sea. And the firebolt ALONE could let him find that triwizard cup without any sweat, without using more spells, he could just say "ACCIO TRIWIZARD CUP" when he sees it from his point in the air. and that there are no antagoginists in air.
harry sould think of that... but i guess the answer here is that there will be no more thrill watching or reading the story if he uses the
way i'm saying... you know it's always a poet's style to do those...

hey people what i'm saying is that harry,to get through the second task must use gillyweed plus the firebolt, and he must summon the firebolt while he is still above the water! and i guess the firebolt works quite well underwater but not too well compared above the water. so it will still be useful underwater... how could u say that it doesn't work underwater? does it have electronic parts that shouldn't be wet? just imagine a waterproof car in the land and u try to put it underwater, of course it will still work but not too well of course. still it helps better than the gillyweed only.
in the third task, harry must fly away from the maze going in the AIR using his firebolt! i didn't say he's going to use the firebolt inside the maze! he must go higher than the maze so that there would not be obstacles... get it?

As for the second task, I'm not sure the broomstick would work under water. In the third task, the object is to face and fight the challenges placed in the maze. not dodge them as Haryy would if he used a broomstick.
But you're right, it would get boring if Harry just used his firebolt every time.

do u think that firebolt could be operated in water? these are task which require some physical strength apart from the magic so they shouldnt have used the firebolt.
as for the third task if he used the firebolt then there is no use in conducting the third task they can ask everyone to use the broomstick and find the cup.this is meaningless. the actual thrill of the competition could be missing so only the author didnt use the broomstick for the tasks

First of all, what use would a broomstick be underwater. Disregard the magical element for a bit, the pressure from the water would have made the broomstick useless. Secondly, using the exact same aid in all three tasks from a literary element would have been completely dull and worthless reading. As regular nonmagical people, we surely would have searched fot the quickest, easiest way to get the job done, but from the literary magical world, not so.

These challanges are meant for the best of the best. Anyone could just hop onto a broom and rescue their loved ones. Plus, I doubt this would work under water. These tasks were meant to test the mind and body and 1/2 the challange was figuring out a unique but practical way to complete it. As well in the third task I dont think summoning charms were allowed and it would be pretty darn hard to fly through a maze, better yet through them. These bushes arent feeble, they'll push or capture you if you go through them.

Because broomsticks dont go under the water and the last one was something to walk into not fly into! Also, Sometimes if she would have wrote it different it wouldnt be the way it is!

I think that the fire bolt can't be operated in water and and how he can get his fire bolt of course u will tell me to say accio the fire bolt but how he can't say that because he was like the fish in water and remember that he tried to say a spell in the water but only bubbles came out of his mouth and in the third task i think he can't do this or it will not be difficult.

you're stupid. why would he use a broomstick underwater? and, imagine about it. he technically wasnt allowed to apply his broomstick in his first interest, so, Dumbledor or someone likely solid yet another spell no longer ableing him to attempt this back.
